1. Quick Start

Three steps to get started:

1.1 Charge

Align the magnetic charging cable with the contacts on the inside of the temple — it will snap into place automatically. The indicator light turns red while charging and flashes blue when fully charged (indicator auto-off after 1 minute). Please fully charge before first use.

Only use the included charging cable. Non-original cables may cause overheating, fire, or damage. Do not leave the device charging unattended.
Do not use fast charging. Please use a 5V/1A adapter. Fast charging may damage the battery or cause overheating.
Before charging, make sure the charging port is dry. If there is moisture, wipe it dry first to avoid short circuit.

1.2 Download the App

Scan the QR code inside the packaging, or search for "EYEVUE" on the App Store / Google Play to download.

1.3 Pair & Connect

Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on → Open the EYEVUE app → Search for device → Tap to connect. Once paired, it will auto-reconnect on subsequent power-ups.

If the app cannot find your glasses, make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the glasses are powered on. Move the glasses closer to your phone.

2. Button & Touch Controls

2.1 Power Button

Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on/off. The power button is located on the right temple.

2.2 Touch Area

The touch area is located on the right temple. Use it for AI assistant activation.

Factory reset will erase all paired devices and settings. Use only when necessary (e.g., unable to connect, device malfunctioning). After reset, you will need to re-pair with your phone.

3. Feature Guide

3.1 Photo

Camera: 13MP (4160×3120 native resolution).

Short press the power button. You will hear a shutter sound confirming the photo was taken. Photos are automatically saved to the app album.

Keep your head steady and look at the target for 1 second before pressing — photos will be sharper.
Please comply with local laws and regulations. Do not use the photo function in areas where photography is prohibited. Respect others' privacy.

3.2 First-Person Video

Double press the power button to start recording; short press to stop. The indicator light flashes during recording.

Videos are automatically saved to the app album.

Single recording is limited to 3 minutes max. After auto-saving, you can start a new recording. Extended recording drains the battery faster.
The indicator light flashes during recording — this is a privacy indicator for people around you, and is normal behavior.
Please comply with local laws and regulations. Do not use the video function in areas where recording is prohibited.

3.3 Audio Recording

Triple-press the power button to start audio recording; short press to stop. Audio files are automatically saved to the app album.

Audio recording consumes less power than video recording and is useful for lectures, meetings, or voice memos.

3.4 Real-Time Translation

Select a language pair in the app → Put on the glasses → The other person's speech is automatically translated into your ear. Supports 27 languages.

Best results at 1-2 meters distance. In noisy environments, ask the other person to come closer. Moderate speech speed and clear pronunciation improve accuracy.
Translation results are for reference only and do not constitute professional translation. For important situations (medical, legal, business contracts), consult a professional translator.

3.5 AI Voice Assistant

Press and hold the touch area for 3 seconds to wake up the AI assistant → Say "Hey Funseek" → Ask your question → Hear the response. You can check the weather, set reminders, answer general knowledge questions, and more.

Natural speech speed and clear pronunciation improve recognition. Best used in quiet environments.
AI responses are for reference only and do not constitute professional advice. For health, legal, or financial decisions, consult qualified professionals.

3.6 Music & Calls

When your phone plays music or receives a call, the glasses automatically switch to earphone mode. The open-ear design lets you hear music while staying aware of your surroundings.

In noisy environments, slightly increase the volume — the open-ear design doesn't require very high volume.
Prolonged listening at high volume may damage hearing. Take a 10-minute break every 60 minutes.
Using earphones may reduce your awareness of environmental warning sounds (e.g., car horns, sirens). Lower the volume or pause use when crossing roads or in hazardous environments.

3.7 Sports & Activity

The lightweight design is suitable for everyday sports and activities. Use first-person video to capture your sports moments.

Wearing during intense sports may pose a risk of facial injury if the product breaks. Use caution during high-intensity activities.
Do not use this product while driving. Operating the touch controls or being distracted by audio content while driving may cause accidents.

9. Frequently Asked Questions

Battery & Charging

Q: The glasses won't turn on?

A: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on. If no response, charge for 30 minutes and try again. When the battery is extremely low, it may need 15 minutes of charging before it can respond to the power button.

Q: How long does the battery last?

A: Normal use (music + occasional photos) approximately 5+ hours. Continuous video recording or sustained translation drains the battery faster, approximately 2-3 hours. Power off when not in use to save battery.

Q: Charging doesn't work / charges very slowly?

A: 1) Make sure the magnetic pins are aligned 2) Clean the charging contacts — ensure no dust or moisture 3) Try a different adapter (5V/1A recommended) 4) If still not working, contact customer service

Q: The magnetic charging cable won't stay attached?

A: Make sure the magnetic orientation is correct — the cable pins should align with the temple contacts and snap into place. If it still won't attach, clean the contacts and pins to remove debris. Do not force it.

Q: Can I use other charging cables?

A: Please only use the included charging cable. Non-original cables may cause charging issues, overheating, or damage. If you need a replacement, contact customer service to purchase original accessories.

Q: How long does a full charge take?

A: Approximately ~1.5 hours. The indicator light is red while charging and turns flashing blue when fully charged. Avoid using the glasses while charging.

Q: Will the battery degrade if not used for a long time?

A: Charge at least once every 3 months, to approximately 50%. Long-term storage at zero charge may cause permanent battery damage, which is not covered by warranty.

Connection & Pairing

Q: Can't connect to the app?

Q: Photos / videos are blurry?

A: 1) Keep your head steady for 1-2 seconds before pressing 2) Make sure the lenses are clean — no fingerprints 3) Image quality decreases in low light — shoot in adequate lighting when possible 4) Avoid shooting directly into bright light sources

Q: What's the maximum recording length?

A: Single recording is limited to 3 minutes max. After auto-saving, you can start a new recording. Extended recording drains the battery faster — we recommend recording in segments.

Q: Can others tell when I'm recording?

A: The indicator light flashes during video recording — this is a privacy indicator for people around you. The indicator also briefly lights up when taking a photo. Please inform people around you before recording.

Q: Where are photos / videos saved? Can I export them?

A: Photos and videos are automatically saved in the EYEVUE app album. You can select photos/videos in the app and tap Share or Save to Phone Album. Data transfer to the phone uses Wi-Fi — make sure the app has the relevant permissions enabled.

Q: Photo / video function not available?

A: When battery drops below 15%, photo and video functions are automatically disabled. Charge the glasses to restore these functions.

Translation & AI

Q: Translation is inaccurate / not working?

A: 1) Best results at 1-2 meters distance 2) Performance decreases in noisy environments — ask the other person to come closer 3) Moderate speech speed and clear pronunciation improve accuracy 4) Some languages require internet — make sure your phone is connected 5) Try downloading offline translation packs in the app

Q: Volume is too low / can't hear clearly?

A: 1) Increase the volume in the app 2) The open-ear design naturally reduces perceived volume in noisy environments — this is normal 3) Make sure the glasses are positioned correctly — the speaker opening should align with your ear canal

Q: Uncomfortable / too tight?

A: 1) Gently bend the temples to adjust the curve (use minimal force — do not bend forcefully) 2) Check if the nose pads are positioned correctly 3) It may take 1-2 days to get used to wearing them 4) If discomfort persists, contact customer service for different nose pad sizes

Q: Lenses fogging up?

A: Fogging may occur when moving from a cold environment to a warm indoor space — this is normal. Use the included microfiber cloth to wipe, or wait a moment for the fog to clear naturally. Do not use hot water or a hair dryer to defog.
